Phantom 18 Speedboat

1987 Phantom 18 with a Mercury Black Max 150HP. The boat is in good original condition and would make a great leisure boat or race boat. It is fitted with front Bow Tank, Bilge pump, boarding ladder, Foot Throttle, Tachometer, Pitot Speedometer, Temperature gauge, Trim Gauge (not working), New style Mercury single lever control box, Ski pole, bosch battery and Bay Star hydraulic steering. The gelcoat has suffered some scratches to the front deck which you can see in the picture and the Transom has been cut at some point (Maybe from factory?) to allow the boat to run a 15’ Mid section - It is Currently on a 20’ mid section. Underneath the boat the hull is watertight and has had some repairs in the past and usual age related marks to the Gelcoat.

The interior looks to also be original consisting of two front bucket seats and a rear bench seat (which has a small rip in it)The side panels are in usable condition with age related marks. The majority of the floor is sound though it is slightly spongey under the passenger seat. The engine is a 1985 Mercury 150hp Black Max and runs well. It has recently benefitted from a full service including: Heads skimmed with new head gaskets, New spark plugs, New Gear Oil, Genuine Mercury water Pump kit, Oil injection removed with Mercury blanking kit, Thermostats replaced with correct Mercury restrictor washers, Quicksilver Water separator filter, Carburettor jets cleaned. It is running a 23P Laser 2 propellor with new flow torque hub kit.

The Trailer Tows well and looks like a roller Indaspenion that was previously braked but the brakes have been removed. It has recently had a new Axle including hubs and bearings, Winch, Wheels repainted and new jockey wheel fitted.
