Plancraft Sabre Speedboat

I bought this Plancraft from a Facebook seller with the intention of taking it up and down Brighton coast and using it for watersports, alas, after spending a fair bit of time and money on the body (listed below), we took it out and the engine has very little compression and the motor for raising and lowering is unreliable at best. It could potentially be a head gasket or rings, or something similar, but truth be told it wants to be rebuilt or probably better off putting a new outboard on. The gel coat on the body is, in my opinion, in really good shape, especially for its age. The seats are in good condition, and I have rebuilt the framing fro the back bench as it was rotten, along with the drivers seat base. She's a really good looking boat, and with a nice engine on her she'd be great fun, I'm moving house and no longer have the space to keep it, otherwise I'd park her up for a bit and wait for an appropriate outboard to pop up.
The trailer comes with it and so do the lights. It's had new wheel bearings and a brand new winch. Any inspection is welcome and I hope you respect that I've been very honest with the description here.
