The boat was used for a few years, dragged up and down a concrete slip, so has various scratches throughout the exterior. There are a couple of pins missing for the seats, but these can easily be replaced. The bolts for the rear support board are missing, but again, these can easily be replaced, including rubber washers. The rear support panel itself is a bit tired, and could do with replacing, but it serves its purpose in its current state. The front 'finishing cap' is missing. Not an essential part at all.Other than that the boat is fully functional, and great fun to use on a sunny day!

You are bidding on a Porta Bote Genesis IV Series. Bought many years ago and used by my family on the River Thames. This foldable boat can hold 4 people, or 260kg/570lbs. The boat can either be used as a rowing boat (oars included), or can be fitted with a small outboard motor (petrol or electric). In terms of portability, the boat itself can be carried by 2-3 people, and can also be put together by 2 people.Once you're finished, the boat folds up to only 600mm/2ft high, so can be stored alongside a shed for example. We used to carry it over the road to our local park, but would sometimes put it in my Dad's van to travel to other parts of the Thames.
