Quicksilver 650 Weekender 2006 Outboard 2008 I have owned this boat since October 2016 and have enjoyed every minute of her. Only reason for sale is I’m upsizing. The boat has a three years service interval which has been done as required.People seem to be put off by being a two stroke? This engine is powerful, quiet, economical and has a longer service interval than a 4 stroke? The xd100 oil that is needed is in a separate feeder tank with reminder facility if getting low.in the five years I have owned her I have brought 4 bottles.
Last service was during lockdown so plenty of enjoyment to be had before the next one. This is taken out every year for a scrub and antifoul Freshwater flushed after every trip without fail. I had the injectors professionally cleaned and serviced two years ago (ASNU). New EMM and fuel pumps when I first brought her. She is in a turn key ready to go condition.
I use the boat for family pleasure trips and a little bit of fishing. Stable in choppy water and gets to where you are going fast. All in all a very capable weekend away fun boat. Currently moored in Rochester Kent ME2 Area Sea trial available on request.
