It does have scratches etc on the hull from years of use but nothing serious. I have polished the hull and left it in the water for 14 days and it didn’t take in water or go green. Its almost always lived on its trailer unless I had it away on holiday where I have paid to moor it. Engine Mercury four stroke 60 HP.

Has had prop welded in past. Was last serviced July 2016 where it had a new power trim motor fitted. Trailer Had to buy a new one in an emergency last year as the old one was rusted out! So its only done about 600 miles including delivery to me, It has led submersible lights, trailer brakes and a kit supplied (not fitted) that connects to a hose to wash out brakes. I have never dipped this trailer in water.

The rollers have been set up so the boat can be launched and retrieved on a slip without getting the trailer in the water, Also if you launch on a beach the trailer will drop the boat on the sand and pick it up without damage or stress. Indespension did it for me. A great job! Straps supplied, you just need a number plate for the trailer. I am guessing from the serial number that the boat and engine were supplied together new in 2003.

Its tidy and its barn stored. I am selling it due to self employment opportunity needing cash flow and its hardly been used recently as a result of work. With a vast 50sq ft cockpit floor area leading to the low entry swim platform the Raider 16 shows its versatile pedigree. The Raider 16 is built using isothalic gel coats (a barrier to osmosis) and bi-axial cloth, which is stitched to chopped strand mat.

This makes for a lighter, stronger boat that will absorb mechanical shock far better than conventional materials. During lamination, the cloth is overlapped by 8" on the keel and bilges, giving double the thickness and greater strength. The decks are bonded onto a chassis which is also bonded into the hull whilst it is still in the mould. This holds the hull in shape and provides correct stress loading throughout, both prior to being released, and from then on. This unique 'boat with chassis' design gives the boat enormous strength.
