Engine Manufacturer: Mariner
Boat Type: Rigid Inflatable
Boat Use: Salt Water
Family sized RIB boat powered by a 60HP 2 stroke Mariner outboard engine.I spent a long time looking for a boat with this layout and size of engine that combines enough power yet with cheap running costs and plenty of room and storage. I have fitted it out to a high specification.Starting at the bow there is a double seat with a large storage locker beneath, below the bow seat is a blue tooth stereo system with 2 marine speakers this will also link to your phone for calls and has a remote so can be operated from the helm. 2 drinks holders are at each side. The helm has 2 Yamaha digital dials, speed, time/distance log & fuel gauge. The speed works on water pressure through a tube so can be temperamental, I prefer to use a smart phone GPS App, there is a universal mount to hold your smartphone for this. There are controls for the Navigation light, horn, bilge pump, choke, power trim & tilt, kill cord, key start and the remote for the stereo, also on the port side a drinks holder and power supply on the starboard side consisting of a digital volt meter 12v socket and 2 USB points for charging/powering what ever you may need.
The double seat will fit 3 at a squeeze and below is a lockable storage locker housing the fuel tank and more room for tools fenders rope etc. A fire extinguisher is mounted on the rear. The back rest swings both ways so you can sit facing the front or back useful for picnics or fishing. Behind the helm is another double seat, this is actually a huge igloo ice chest and is strapped in so can be easily removed should you require more room. Igloo ice chests are amazing and will keep food and drink ice cold for days not hours!
This one is huge and will easily hold an entire weekends worth of food and drink or can be used for more storage, there is a little more room behind where I normally store fenders. On the stern is an A frame and auxiliary out board bracket for a back up should you feel the need. Its all powered by a 2 stroke premix Mariner 60hp clamshell outboard engine which is on the button. Recently it has had a new impeller, gearbox oil change, fuel lines changed, new battery leads and replacement power trim switch and wiring. The engine, boat and trailer are all datatagged.
The trailer is a Hallmark roller coaster 1 and can easily be launched single handed, it really is impossible to get it wrong either getting it off or on, the rollers guide it on/off perfectly every time. Finally it does have a winter cover (its actually a caravan cover) I tried several "proper" boat covers which both tore, this one does not look pretty but does the job and covers the whole boat. All in a complete package ready to go including the lightboard (quick release) You would need... a car with a tow bar to tow it (any thing medium sized its not heavy) a number plate for the lightboard and the money (lots of people on classifieds board forget this bit!)This is not a new boat and has age related marks but is in good used condition and mechanically excellent. We have been on some long trips 30Nm plus and in some very choppy seas and it has took it all in its stride, its only been out once this year hence the reason for sale and would benefit from a good clean and a new home. Now the bit you have to do on classifieds board...No I don't want to trade it for your mums Ford escort or something else weirdI am not going to take a stupid offer because you have cash and will come round in 15 secondsI don't want to part ex for another boat (I have another 3 already!)And no I will not ship it to Albania/North Africa wherever If you want to buy it turn up, view it and pay cash, simple.Viewing is welcome by appointment only as it is stored on my parents drive. It will be advertised elsewhere so may be withdrawn from sale if not sold through classifieds board.Thank you for looking, any questions just message
