Rib Boat Narwhal 40Hp Mariner

Here is a Narwhal Rib fitted with a Mariner 40hp short shaft outboard, complete with trailer. The boat comes with a fish finder / echosounder, and a marine handheld GPS. The fuel tank is under the seat and holds about 25ltrs, being the usual red outboard type. The boat has just had new morse type control cables, new wheels and tyres, and has two life jackets and a small kids wet-suit. The boat once had a small A frame on the back but this was stolen some time ago.

Steering is by Teleflex, a bit stiff but this will losen up with use.The transom has stainless steel plates put in place where this was taken from. The engine has had a recent impeller change and runs well, pumping a good amount of water. It runs well and has had a replacement gearbox fitted. The propeller is good. The glass fibre hull has also had protection added to the keel for beaching costing £300 to have professionally done.

Since the pictures were taken it has had two new wheels and tyres plus several other items so that this boat can be towed away and used. Its former use was a tender to a larger boat but is now no longer needed. There is some areas of corrosion to the trailer but the wheels / bearings / tyres are all good. It also has a lighting board with it. The GPS does have some pixels discoloured on the screen but works well showing a speed of over 30 mph on the boat with two people on board.

It also has a fish-finder so that you know how deep the water is. Its obviously not new, but is excellent fun and pulls toys or a skier easily. There are also a set of muffs to flush it out with from a hose when you have finished. I will start and run the engine when you come to collect it. The tubes hold air okay and there is an extra rubbing strip on the front where the anchor rope would rub.

It also has two anchors. If you have any questions please ask. It is for sale elsewhere so it may end early. I can deliver it on the trailer for a fee.
