Ribtec 655 Rib Boat With Honda Outboard Engine

Here we have our Ribtec 655 rib Fast and fun rib ideal for serious boating and family fun.Powered by the bomb proof Honda BF130, this rib was custom made for the original owner as a family boat for the Solent. Ordered with an extra long leg on the outboard to cope with all weather conditions, the deep vee hull and ruggedness of these ribs really make them the 4x4 of the sea! The rib has jockey seating for 4 along with specially ordered teak foot plates for children to support their legs, it has a front seat for two built in to the helm and a wide rear seat for two behind the jockey seats which has a reversible back rest allowing occupants to sit facing forward or reverse if towing a skier or toys.The jockey seats all have lockable storage as well as the helm seat. The boat has the additional benefit of a specially ordered 200 litre stainless steel fuel tank for long distance cruising along with sea star hydraulic steering, automatic bilge pump and compass. A recent Garmin chart plotter and fishfinder is also fitted.Navigation lights are also present, fitted to a stainless steel A-frame.The boat has always been dry stored on its indespension roller coaster trailer which has recently been fitted with new wheels, bearings and brake shoes.The boat has been in regular use throughout the year and fastidiously maintained during our ownership.Sadly being sold due to upgrade to a larger boat.
