Hi, does the boat have its build plate fitted, either on the dashboard or the transom? Donald Simmonds was my grandad and i've been toying with the idea of restoring one of these for a few years. I just wanted to get some info from the build plate so i could do a bit of research on the boat first. Thanks Tom

Hi, I have a Simmonds for sale if anybody ight be interested. Her name is Miss Pilgrim. She comes with a marinised Ford 1500cc boat engine and gearbox of the time. The currently fitted FNM engine needs to be removed and the Ford fitting. Requires full restoration. Located on the Wirral. Dave
