Otaio is a very warm and dry boat, thanks to the double skin and foam infill, this gives an insulation missing in most boats along with a rigidity that feels more like a steel hull, thus making her a very safe and competent vessel (They have been sailed around the world) Also another benefit is that the foam acts as buoyancy, meaning that if you are unfortunate enough to puncture or a sea cock to fail, then she should not sink, this was Sadler's USP.She is also equipped with Eberspaecher diesel fueled hot air heating, which for me is an absolute must in a boat to keep all the occupants happy :-) I have sailed her single handed from Portsmouth to Lands-end and back in some great weather and also up to force 8 (force 9 reported as I entered Poole Harbour) she is a very tough boat and looks after her owners well with a keen turn of speed 5.5 kts to windward 7 on a beam reach with a blow.
