Deck and cockpit The decks have been painted with Interdeck grey and the cockpit is painted in inter deck white. I think if i was keeping the boat I would add teak or tek deck to improve the durability. The main sheet traveller has been removed as it was a hazard where it was and the sheet is on the main deck above the spray hood. The spray hood frame is new but the hood is older and needs a few minor repairs.
It works well but could do with a few repairs. The windows are all sound and no leaks The halyards are all in good condition as is the reefing lineThe roller reefing is a rolex and is in good conditionthe decks are generally good but there are a range of age related dents and chips that have been incurred over many years , the dec k has bene polished and filled so looks respectable. Its a basic boat that is really good for sailing and ready to go.
Its dry and does not have water leaks, its engine is sound and reliable and its got a fair set of sails. Below decks is neat and tidy and clean but has some signs of wear as you might expect on a 1984 boat. If you want a starter boat or something to improve then this is a great boat for you, or if you are looking for a cheap boat to get you on the water this is ready to go and has been used regularly. I recognise its an older boat and as such would benefit from some further improvement and comforts but i have priced it with that in mind and you wort find a better boat for this kind of money all ready to go. The boat is avaialbe to view at Kip Marina and you should contact Michael Schmidt and partners on 0phone if you'd like to view.
