I am going to be out of the country and busy with work this year and will have no time to enjoy my boat, so she has to go.Been under wraps for the winter but I have just fitted new wheel bearings and wheels / tires to get her ready to be moved. (Disclaimer: I am not responsible for checking the suitability or safety for when you are towing. You must make your own checks.)Currently stored on Thorney Island near Emsworth. I may be able to deliver to you if you are local. I have not renewed my storage so has to be gone by the end of March, hence the no reserve listing.
Some of the earlier photos show the original wooden mast and boom, she now has aluminium and sails to match, the windows in one of the photos are removed as I took them out a couple of years ago when doing a bit of a refurb and to get them tinted. (They are back in again.)She does need a bit of TLC before this sailing season. A coat of anti-foul underneath, and the woodwork will probably need a varnish / paint. I have not checked everything since last season so expect to have to buy some bits and bobs. Mast, boom, sails, rigging all there.
No outboard as it doesn't start any more. This is not a new boat as you will appreciate but small enough to easily handle with one or two, and with the lifting keel she will go into moorings that others dream of with only a few inches of water. Any questions or if you want to come and have a look then please message me.Happy bidding and Good luck.On 10-Mar-19 at 11:12:18 GMT, seller added the following information: Just added a photo to show that the Keel Mod has been done. This was done in Apr 2015 using all Stainless fittings and chain. This is recommended by the Sailfish Owners Club as the screw for the lifting keel can be over-wound down and the pin holding the bottom of the screw can corrode.
This results in the keel departing from the boat and a very embarrassing chat with a dive-recovery team. Keel is 250 kg(?) of lead filled GRP so a real pain to get recovered and re-fitted too. The mod is a chain to prevent it being wound down too far.
