“MEHALAH” is your chance to own a piece of Essex history. Built by Walker Brothers of Leigh-on-sea circa 1958 and lovingly restored by a Essex wooden sailing dinghy restorer to a very high standard. He finished his restoration by completely incasing her in epoxy, finishing her outer hull in two pack paint. I added her historic name after Sabine Baring-Gould’s famous 1880 novel of the same name. She is a 9ft wooden clinker sailing dinghy.

She can be sailed with her Lug main sail or jib and Lug main. Built circa 1958 and completely renovated, including epoxying all her woodwork. She comes with mast, lug sail on a yard & boom, jib, strongly built launch trailer, sail cover, oars & rowlock, lifting rudder, two centre boards ( one long for sailing and one short for towing or rowing her), 3 foam fiilled floatation bags, strong all weather cover, 2 bronze belaying pins, draining hole & screw plug, mooring ropes and is READY TO SAIL.
