Sailing Boat Yacht

This yacht is ready to go.I've just had a lovely weeks holiday on the Norfolk Broads and it's an ideal boat for a beginner. I'm selling my Strong fibreglass bilge keel 17ft sailing boat. Built in Essex at Rydgeway Marine and called a Pirate. Designed by Ian Proctor. Leak free with a draft of 3.75ft to the bottom or the sturdy bilge keels.
Complete with an old Mercury Outboard motor ( Serviced in May 22 ) with fuel tank, which starts easily and runs well ( bit lumpy ), road trailer( solid however heavily repaired) with tyres which are 4 years old and used less than 200 miles. Tall Mast, boom, sails and rigging all in good average conditionIn addition there are 3 side fenders, 1 bow fender, compass, electronic depth gauge, battery for the depth gauge, cabin cushions. There is a small rotatable table fixed to the mast support ( see photo 3 ). Also, red ensign, man overboard U shaped and small dustpan and brush. It would be easy to wire up an internal light off of the battery.
The internal accommodation comprises 3 single berths in theory. Comprising 2 heads up into the bow and 1 extending under the cabin bench. For more comfort for 2 people I've made infil pieces at the cabin entry for a nearly nearly comfortable double bed. ( see photo no 11 ). The bow and stern have chromed rails joined down the sides by some indifferent cord.The cabin entry has a sliding fibreglass hatch cover, which mates up to a reduced vision perspex entry sheet which easily fits in to place.Trailer board with lights includedThe tall mast , boom and rigging are shown in storage.
