Gaff Cutter Dayboat / Cruiser made by Malcolm Goodwin in Wivenhoe. One of a mini fleet of three. A great little gaffer which can be sailed single handed but will happily handle the whole family. Compact 2 berth cabin for the odd night away. Sale forced due to long term illness of owner.
Description: 

This mini fleet of gaff cutters were built by Malcolm Goodwin in Wivenhoe, Essex, England. Originally built for his young growing family. This craft has been superb for introducing my children to sailing. A great dayboat, ideal for cruising down to the beach for a day out; but capable of racing with a big fleet of gaffers on a race day. She holds her own with a fleet of Shrimpers and is much more fun to sail due to the extra rig - more similar to a Crabber.The lifting steel centre plate is ideal for coastal crusing in her home Essex waters and can be beached for cleaning without a problem.
Ashore at Brightlingsea. Available for viewing most days by appointment.
