Sailing Yacht

MacWester 27/28 . This boat is a project in progress. The last time she was out of the water for anti fouling and new anodes was in 2016. The mast is set into a tabernacle which makes it easy to drop when required. There is a bowsprit fitted and she is cutter Rigged.

Headsail and staysail have furling systems. Staysail furler was fitted new in 2014 along with the running rigging. There is a 150w solar panel connected to a 3 unit battery bank. The engine runs but needs a service. The stopcocks to the toilet are only two year old along with the jabasco manual pump.

Inside there is a 240v consumer unit with three double power points connected. One has usb charging points. Three of the five sails have been cleaned but they do need sorting out. A MacWester is generally considered to be a sea friendly boat. They were solidly built and have a shallow draft, giving them the advantage of being able to cruise some rivers and canals..This boat does need the investment of a bit of time and a small amount of money.
