Featured Refinements: Sailing Yacht
A well found boat professionally maintained, only been a float 4 out of the last 16 years, but always well maintained and winterised. Over the last couple of years, extensively upgraded with continued improvement. "Jobber" was purchased 10 years ago, she has been used for sailing on the river Crouch, Thames and Medway. She has been kept to a high standard both internally and externally. She was professionally fitted out with teak as opposed to most of these models which are completed by amateurs.
"Jobber" is a stable cruiser which manoeuvres easily and has a large and roomy interior. It has been professionally hand scraped, rubbed back to gel coat and primed with fresh anti foul. Accommodation She has 5 berths in 2 cabins, including 2 "V" berths in the separate forward cabin. Her saloon table lowers to form a double berth to port and she has a quarter berth to starboard. Construction Built in 1980.
GRP construction, with light blue topsides with grey/white decks and superstructure, bilge keels, skeg hung rudder, aft cockpit with tiller steering, Bermudian masthead sloop rig, her interior has 5 berths in 2 cabins with around 5' 10' headroom. Equipment Stainless steel pushpit, pulpit and guard wires, sprayhood, spray dodgers, cockpit cushions, boarding ladder built into pushpit, spinnaker pole, 4 sheet winches, main anchor with chain and spliced warp, boat hook, mooring warps and fenders. "Jobber" is fitted with a battery isolator switch, with 2 batteries. Battery one 75Amp/h starter battery, Battery two new 110Amp/h domestic battery. The boat also has 240v shore power hook up with a new Cristec 12Amp battery charger.
There are 2 lights in the saloon, 1 over the head and 2 in the forecabin. 19" 12v LED Freeview television with small DVB Baten aerial mounted on the pushpit. CD/DVD player soundsystem with remote control and speakers. Jobber also comes with a small inflatable dinghy and Honda 4 Stroke 2HP outboard motor. Navigation Equipment New Plastimo compass, NASA echo sounder, VHF aerial and ICOM M323G VHF with built in GPS and deck speaker.
Raymarine C70 with Navionics UK & Ireland chart. Chartplotter is connected to Camino 150s AIS receiver. Recently fitted a ST60+ Raymarine Wind instrument. A small Garmin plotter was used on a swing arm along with the wind indicator, to show AIS targets when on the Thames (busy shipping lane). Chart table with chart light, local charts, deck spotlight, navigation lights, steaming light, tri colour masthead light.
There is also a Raymarine ST1000+ tillerpilot, recently serviced and fully working. Engine(s) Bukh 10HP single cylinder inboard diesel engine rebuilt in the last few years. Raw water cooling system. Ammeter, water temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge and fuel gauge. 10 Gallon fuel tank with a consumption per hour of between 1/2 and 3/4 of a gallon at a cruising speed of around 6 knots.
3 blade bronze propeller. Sails & Spars New Slab reefing mainsail with mainsail cover, No.1 Genoa, No.2 Genoa, No.1 Jib and storm Jib. All lines led aft to cockpit, anodised alloy mast and spars and stainless steel rigging. Boat is currently advertised elsewhere, so right to cancel listing.
