Sailing Yacht Hunter 701 With Lifting Keel

Hunter 701 with Hydraulically lifting keel. 23 feet in length. Built in 1973. Strong capable little sailing boat in good seaworthy condition. Equally suited on the high seas in a good blow or pottering about in estuaries, up muddy creeks and on the inland waterways.

I have covered many happy miles in all these locations and in all conditions with this tough speedy little boat. Comes furnished with, a mainsail, genoa , working and storm gibs, log and depth sounder, vhf radio, good strong battery, led navigation lights and good ground tackle in the shape of a QCR with 7m of 10mm chain and 30m of rope warp, and a mercury 5HP saildrive outboard with charging circuit.Lifting keel allows it to creep up the shallowest of creeks and dry out when the tide goes out. With the keel down she stands up to her canvas well and only need reefing in F4 or above. Four berths though realistically only room for two adults with gear.Also included in this sale is the 4 wheeled braked yard trailer. Requires small amount of welding to make it strong enough for a road journey.Interior is partially finished lined with plywood and requires finishing or just go sailing.:)Fair winds and happy bidding.Ps.
