Sailing Yacht Trapper 28

Hi there, I am auctioning off my Trapper 28. She was built in 1971 at the Anstey yard in Poole under liecence from C&C yachts canada where the design in known as a Viking 28. The boat is a fast cruiser racer, built for speed not for comfort she is a low profile yacht with no standing head room, but 4 berths, which I have tried out for weekend cruising. She has a bulbous steel keel, single skin GRP. Reason for selling is that I have become too busy with another sailing project with my wife on a bigger boat, and have run out of time for 'Falcon' and would like to see her go to a good owner willing to finish her and get her back out on the water.

She is the best sailing 28ft yacht of her type that I have sailed on or owned. The boat is currently a half finished project. Things that need doing are - new rudder bushings, rudder re-attach- sand down and add last coat of epoxy on keel- removal of second half antifoul and re-antifoul - replace hull anode - top sides crack filling at foward bullkhead stbd side - top side paint - sail laundry Things that have already been done- engine service including filters and belts - 3 coats of epoxy on keel- old hull anode removed - rudder taken off- all halyards moused out of rig any questions about the boat or the work required let me know.Boat is Lying at Deacons boat yard, all yard bills are paid upto date.
