Twenty six foot Trapper 300 Mk2. Four berth, built 1980. A safe, fast and very pretty little boat.The Trapper 300 was designed by Bruce Kirby (of Laser Dingy fame). The first boats were successful Quarter Ton racers. I have the original Builders Certificate.Very nice condition with lots of money recently spent. Just hauled out for the winter, washed off and ready for viewing.Excellent four year old survey report, which is available for inspection.Topsides professionally resprayed 2011. Underwater areas stripped back to gel-coat and VC Tar applied 2010. No signs of any problems with the hull.In the four years of my ownership much has been replaced such as -4 winches (all 6 winches are Harken), Harken winch handles, cooker with grill, water tank, galley sink and tap, all deck cleats, diesel and water fillers, clock and barometer, Spinlock tiller extension, mooring warps and fenders, anchor chain and warp, radio ariel, some halliards (Dynema), Yanmar manual for engine, 2 x 85amp batteries, various lengths of running rigging, the list goes on and on.In March this year all the standing rigging, including bottle screws etc. Was professionally replaced, receipt available for inspection.The engine (Yanmar YSM8) though original is in excellent condition.

The engine starts and runs well and in an average seasons use (approx. 20 hours running) does not use any oil at all.All sails are serviceable but are a few years old.Main.No 1 Genoa.No 2 Genoa.Working Jib.Storm Jib.Spinnaker.There are also a number of older sails that came with the boat, including a good No 1 Heavy Genoa.Included in the sale is a fully tailored winter cover, Autohelm, emergency equipment, six large fenders and all the normal gear you would need.I have spent the last four winters working on various areas of the boat to bring her up to scratch.
