“TRUSTY LAD”, SEAFARER 21 Mk 2 FOR SALE, £6.5K ONOBuilt late 1970s/early 1980s. Length- 21ft, Beam 9ft, Draught 2.5 ft, weight 2.5 tons. I've had Trusty Lad since 2016, but as we're shortly moving away from the sea, I’m having to let her go. Currently on a swinging mooring on the Tamar until mid-October, then going to Blagdon’s Boatyard in Plymouth. Briefly Surveyed 2016, on Small Ship Register.
BMC 1.5L diesel, 36shp. New for 2019-2020 S/S fuel tank (15/16 gall. 67.5 lit), injectors and fuel pump overhauled 2019 with new HP injector pipes at same time (invoices). All gauges- temp, oil pressure, fuel, volts and tachometer new in last 5 yrs (most invoices). Cruising speed 5 kts, top speed approx.
7 kts. Fuel consumption approx 0.5 gph/2.25 litres ph at 1400rpm. This gives a nominal range of 120 nm or endurance of 30hrs motoring. Spare plastic 4 gall. Fuel tank.
Single lever control. Twin 12 volt batteries with solar panel charging. New LED port, starboard and Steaming lights. Cockpit cover with spare. Main anchor 9kg (approx) plough, 8m chain, 37m rope warp.
