Twin screw seagoing tug for sale. She is an ex UK MOD "Dog Class" tug, built to top Lloyds Class spec. Length overall is 28.7m, beam 7.4m, draught 3.7m and Gross Tonnage is 149. The tug is in good condition, fully operational, compliant as a UK MCA class IX tug, and still in commercial use providing towage to vessels. Bollard pull was tested in 2015 and certificated at 20.7 tonnes.She is registered on the UK part one ship register as a tug, and ready to go to sea or work immediately.
She has extensive accommodation, including captain's cabin, engineer's cabin, crew quarters, large mess room on deck level and an additional mess room below decks, bosun's store, galley, two toilets and shower rooms, etc.Main engines are a pair of 8 cylinder turbocharged Lister Blackstone ERS8MGR engines, coupled through hydraulic reversing gearboxes to twin fixed propellers.She has three diesel generators providing three sources of 230v AC and also three sources of 220v DC.Nav gear includes Radar, GPS, Chartplotter, Depth Sounder, VHF DSC, MF/HF Radio, etc.Deck gear includes windlass with two large anchors and chains, aft rope winch and tow hook with quick release.Fuel capacity is about 38,000 litres, so she has a good range at sea of potentially a few thousand miles depending on what she is doing.
