Seahog Commodore 17.5ft Fishing Boat

This auction is for our beloved Seahog Commodore fishing boat. She is 17.5ft long and is powered by an immaculate Tohatsu 50/60 hp 2-stroke outboard engine.(regularly serviced) The boat is very clean and the hull is in excellent condition. She is currently berthed at the Sovereign Harbour in Eastbourne and is used regularly but we have now upgraded to a 23ft weekender and so unfortunately she must go to a new home. The boat was previously set up as a beach launch boat and so is keeled with Orroco timber keels with stainless steel keel bands. She is just as happy sitting on a shingle beach (previously at Eastbourne and Pevensey Bay) or in a marina and the beach keels do not impair performance at all as she is anti-fouled.
The boat comes with a Garmin Fishfinder and Garmin GPS, VHF radio, two high power batteries and a split charger and solar trickle charger to ensure both batteries are ready to go. She also has port and starboard lights, a headlight and a deck light for night fishing. There are stainless steel rod holders on a S/steel gantry and stainless steel side rails. Also included is the anchor, chain,100m of rope and a buoy for steaming the anchor out. This set up is ready to go, just fill one of the three 30ltr removable fuel tanks and put your rods and tackle on and off you go.
(Don’t forget your bait!!) We can do any sea trials if you come and visit before the new boat arrives, after which the engine can be started at the Sovereign Harbour dry storage. The boat will be cleaned thoroughly this weekend and I shall upload further photos and a video will be available of her at sea being put through her paces.
