Searunner 42 Trimaran

Back on the market due to dishonest timewasters. Considerably reduced price for quick sale and ready to enjoy the 2018 Summer Season!!! A unique trimaran, the only one ever professionally built in this 42ft size - a real one off. Built by Border Marine in Berwick Upon Tweed in 1972 to the Jim Brown Searunner design, commissioned by the previous owners to cruise the Med and tropical climates, a great live aboard. This gorgeous classic yacht really turns heads wherever she goes, and having been fully restored inside and out at the beginning of 2015 she is probably in the best condition of her life. We have totally renovated the interiors, making the living quarters cosy and practical with a luxurious feel, and have lived aboard her very happily in the past. She makes a great social family boat, with 3 double bunks (which can become 1 double & 4 singles) and 1 single bunk (7 berth in total). Working forwards - 4 cabin areas, one main end cabin which can be a double bunk or a dining table with benches. Lots of storage areas, cupboards, drawers, large wardrobe & cubby holes. TV.

Through to the galley/kitchen fully equipped with hob,oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, hot water tank, single bunk, great sound system, clean engine room and battery room. Then to the large spacious cockpit with cubby's, Isotherm ice box, RayMarine C120 Nav equipment, to the double bunk room (can be configured 2 doubles or 4 singles or 2 singles & benches), large storage cupboards & cubbys, fuel tank 220 ltr diesel, followed by the shower room with sink, shower, electric toilet, loads more storage space. Very comfortable live aboard yacht. Perfect for families. We rented the boat out through Airbnb and have had great success with this.

She was designed to live aboard in the Mediterranean so surprisingly spacious and comfortable for a Trimaran! We also updated everything to give a modern comfortable interior, many liveaboard Tri's are very basic & often very dated inside, we put a lot of time into making this one special. Endless storage in the floats too. Fully equipped galley with Burbidge Stainless Steel Two Burner Grill and Oven, Microwave Oven, Italian Double Bowl sink with Pull out Monobloc Mixer Tap, Nautic Hot Water Boiler, Waeco 80 fridge/freezer etc. Shower Room with electric toilet, shower, sink.

(all new in 2015) GRP & Ply construction. 12.46m (42ft) in length, 25ft width. AWL GRIP Paint to the entire boat so incredibly hard wearing and polishes up beautifully every season. Engine 1 x diesel 37.5hp, Beta Marine (new in 2008). Engine hours 441.

Fully Serviced.Fuel capacity approx 220ltr (1 tank). Very shallow draft 0.86m minimum so excellent for shallow water exploring, beaching up/cruising near beaches/up rivers etc. Raymarine navigation system on board - Raymarine ST60 Autopilot Raymarine C120 MFD with seperate Depth, Wind and Speed Display's All standing rigging brand new in 2015 and all 6 sails fully serviced at the same time. Crusader - Slab (2008) Lazy Jacks, 2 Reefs. Headsail Crusader - Furling (2008), Genoa (2000), Storm Jib (2000), Cruising Chute (2000).

Recently Fitted Lazy Jacks for easy single handed cruising. Six foot wide decks on either side of the very spacious cockpit make this cruising trimaran comfortable and very social. Amazing for sunbathing and entertaining! With the hood up the cockpit becomes an entire social area in its own, with a small teak fold out table for dining etc. Webasto Diesel Heater ( New 2017 ) Essential for cruising in these European Climates and beyond.

A very fun sail - cruising speed approx 6-9 knots, can reach approx 14 knots comfortably with a strong wind (previous owner has had her up to 22 knots in very strong winds but I haven't personally.)
