She 33, designed by legendary Naval Architects Sparkman & Stevens TEXT OR TELEPHONE phone TO DISCUSS OR VIEW A luxury 33ft classic family yacht/racing cruiser. This is a lovely example of these classic family/racing cruiser. It provides spacious accommodation below decks (>6 berth) with lots of storage throughout, a large deep cockpit (great head height throughout) and easily handled rig the boat is ideally suited to family sailing while more than capable of decent performance in passage races. The boat is very capable under sail and has earned a reputation for excellent sea keeping in the harshest of environments, including the horrendous 1979 Fastnet Race. Beautiful hourglass lines, plenty of interior space and room for six to spend time in comfort on board.
There is a generous and open saloon, with good sized galley and a comfortable, comprehensive navigation station. She is very well equipped with navigation aids and is rigged for short-handed sailing, giving her potential use for all manner of sailing. In-mast reefing and furling foresail also contribute to the ease with which she should be able to be sailed. There has been in excess of £20k spent upgrading her in recent years, with over £14.5k having been spent on her since 2008-receipts are available to inspect, and a further £4k spent on all new sails (by Sanders in October 2016 which have been used less than 100 hours). All-in-all, a great place to be and a great way to travel, explore or race.
