Shetland Saxon Canal River Cabin Cruiser 21ft Mooring At Saltford Marina Bristol

Plane Sailing, 21foot, 6 berth river cruiser up for sale. 6ft 10 beam, 2ft draft. A very flexible boat, being small enough to get about quite easily, but big enough to sleep up to 6 and seat many more for a day trip. Boat Safety License till August 2019, river/canal license will need to be purchased by new owner. Moorings at Saltford Marina and in Bristol in general are quite sought after and difficult to get hold of, so quite unusual to find a boat like this for sale in such an idyllic location in this price range.

There are great facilities on site, including water tap next to the boat, electricity, toilets and showers and the Riverside pub is right on site. A few miles one way you have the Jolly Sailor, then you're on your way to Bristol Centre and a few miles the other way, towards Bath, you have the Boat House pub, then the entry to Bath's waters, where there are visitor moorings. The boat is in pretty good nick for it's age, but as with most boats like this, it will require running maintenance and a little TLC. It's pretty tidy inside, has a cooker, TV,fridge, running water, mains hookup, toilet compartment with cassette toilet, waterproof canopy. Also, depth finder and distance log.

Two leisure batteries and solar panel and mains chargers. Cushion covers are in great nick, all internal ones were replaced last year with new. Comes with gas in bottles. We've hardly used it in the last couple of years due to small children and no time. Comes with anchor, ropes, lock key, oars etc, everything you will need.

There is a fairly old Yamaha 9.9hp outboard with it, but it's not running properly, so is sold with the boat as spares/repairs. The Carb will need replacing, or the whole outboard. Used to run great, so who knows, someone might know how to get it running sweet again. You can get a decent and suitable 2nd hand outboard for around a grand, or I've been quoted about 2 grand for a new outboard with a 7 year warranty. I'll leave that decision to the buyer, as we're moving out of the area soon and simply need to get a sale now.
