Snapdragon 24 Sailing Yacht. Bilge keel version. Looks solid enough and with inboard engine but needs a lot of cleaning. Engine starts, but not easily, and needs a proper overhaul with new oil, filters, air intake etc. Forehatch is missing, replaced by temporary plywood.

Mast, boom and rig looks in reasonable condition. Roller genoa and mainsail are rigged but have not been inspected. Stanchions and pushpit are damaged. Fantastic winter project to create a lovely little cruising boat! Comes with all sorts of equipment, from Raymarine plotter to fishing rod, none of it tested!

This boat has been bequeathed to Weir Quay Sailing Club on the Tamar River and must be sold, so this could be a real bargain. The boat is sitting on one of our river moorings and the new owner must remove the boat within a month of purchase.Some of the equipment on board: Mainsail, genoa, Raymarine A50 plotter, Autohelm self-steering, Icom IC-M323 VHF radio, plough anchor & chain, upholstery, gas stove + 2 x gas bottles (in cockpit locker), marine toilet, solar panel and controller, ropes & cordage, spare parts and fittings, binoculars, fishing rod.There is a public slipway very near the mooring and we can help load the boat onto your trailer. Alternatively, the local Weir Quay Boatyard will haul the boat and crane it onto a trailer for about £200.Note that the club inherited two boats. The first sold for a very low price with several disappointed bidders having their bids ignored, so bid a bit earlier if you are serious about this fine craft!
