Snapdragon 26 Motor Sailer

Beautiful Snapdragon 26 yacht is a project in need of a new home. She is a fabulous craft with only a 2.5 ft draft, so excellent boat for estuary sailing. However, she was a great yacht on the sea and in her glory days she even sailed to France. This project needs a complete fit out but there is a new toilet ready to plumb in and new Perspex ready to cut to size for the windows. The sails have been repaired, there’s new rope, the rigging is all good and the Dolphin Yacht engine came out of the Snapdragon, and was working when removed.
The rigging, seat pads, engine, sails and rope have all been in dry storage until this week, when we put them all in the yacht ready to be removed with the Snapdragon. The Snapdragon was being used and sailed from Porthleven Harbour, Cornwall, where it was moored until 2018 and on blocks in its current location since then. (The wood surrounding the Snapdragon in the picture is not supporting the yacht and will be removed). It came out to have an internal refit and the woodwork restored. There is a genuine reason for a very reluctant sale of this fine example.
