Cavalletta is our amazing floating home which is now for sale. She is 14.53m long (47.6ft) with a beam of 4.72m (15.4ft) Powered by twin Cummins VT300 V8 Diesel engines giving 450hp each she will happily take to sea and used to be in the Med in the late 90's. Cavalletta has been converted to be more of a live aboard now with a spacious open plan lounge with double leather sofa and single leather recliner, new laminate flooring, 43" T.V, bar/dining table with 2 bar stools, large galley with gas hob, fridge freezer, convection oven and plenty of storage. There is a large log burner in the lounge with back boiler that heats radiators in each room making Cavalleta economical to heat in the winter. There are 3 cabins below, the master cabin is very spacious with king size bed, wardrobe, dresser, storage and en-suite with new electric toilet and large double shower.
Opposite there is a bunk bed cabin with wardrobe and storage. Forward cabin has twin berths with ample storage space. There is a separate bathroom which has been refurbished with new electric sea toilet, solid wood worktop with new sink and tap. The helm is located on the flybridge, the internal helm has been removed although the wiring etc is still in place should you wish to restore this, we have no intention of sailing in the rain so would rather the extra internal space! The flybridge has been stripped back to give maximum floor space for lounging and sun bathing, plenty of room up there for entertaining.
Rear deck is also very large and offers great space with a large BBQ for the upcoming summer evenings! Below the rear deck is access to a large storage area, a new washer/dryer, shelving and door into the engine room. Cavalletta is a very very rare classic motor boat, made from cold moulded quad planked Mahogany with a Nylon sheath protecting her from the water and giving her that clean moulded look. She was last out of the water and cleaned in January 2020, we have lots more photos available on request and will be sad to see her go but we have had an offer accepted on a 61ft boat so have to take the jump. We were looking at wide beam barges before this but you get a lot more living space for less length and less mooring fees!
Viewings and offers invited. Leisure mooring available in Portishead Marina, Bristol sts and marina approval at £440pcm.
