Speedboat Fletcher Mercruiser 3.0 Alpha One Boat

I have owned the boat for about four years and in this time this is what I have spent. I bought it for £2200 spent £1100 with a marine mechanic and hundreds in replacement parts. I am not a mechanic and because i have spent so much on the boat and it still needs more work it’s time to sell. NEW STARTER MOTORNEW HYDRAULIC PUMP FOR THE ALPHA ONE LEGFULLY SERVICED ALPHA ONE LEG NEW BELLOWSFRESH ANTI FOULSKIMMED HEAD AND NEW HEAD GASKETFRESH OIL AND FILTERNEW CRANK CASE COVERNEW THERMOSTAT REBUILT ROCHESTER DOUBLE BARREL CARBURETORGREAT BATTERY NEW STEREO SYSTEM WITH BLUETOOTH THAT SOUNDS GREAT. I LAUNCHED THE BOAT LAST NIGHT and was able to throttle up and get the boat on the plane, after a few minutes it started pulling air up the fuel line (I have a piece of clear pipe at the carb end of the fuel line) and running rough.

So it will need a new fuel filter fuel line and a filter to separate water. This may be all that is wrong with the running of the engine along with needing the carb setting up. But by no means a guarantee. If you require any further information regards the condition of the boat phone. The engine and engine bay are very clean and it’s easy to see that there are no leaks of water or oil from the engine.

The engine bay is fitted with a working exhaust fan. It is fitted with two working bilge pumps. One is automatic using a float in the bottom of the boat. Some of the instruments don’t work. The ship to shore radio needs a new aerial I have never seen it in working condition.

INCLUDED WITH THE BOAT, anchor, rope life jackets, flares, compass, trailer, trailer board, trailer lock, flush muff and cover. I would encourage anyone thinking of seriously bidding and buying to come to my house and see the boat running and judge for yourself the condition. I am no expert. I have a video of the trip out last night that I can show anyone that comes to view the boat. Auction rules apply!
