Springer 30ft canal boat for sale. "Thumbelina" is a steel hulled, 30ft Springer built in Liverpool in 1981. She sleeps 2-3 people, has a kitchen with Belfast sink, hot and cold water, wooden drainer, hob and grill plus plenty of cupboard space. The cabin has a fantastic log-burning stove, several power points, seating for easily 6 people which then converts into a double and single berth. The cabin has tongue and groove wooden ceiling, panelled walls, loads of under seat storage and newly fitted carpets which make it very snug and comfortable.

Glass doors to the front lead out to an outdoor seating area with lights (for tunnel navigation) and a fitted canopy so that it can be used for storage. The boat's water tank (600 litres) is accessed from the front. To the rear is a curtained bathroom area, small but big enough for a portable toilet, wash hand basin with hot and cold taps and bathroom accessories. The engine compartment houses a 1500 BMC diesel engine, water heater, leisure and power batteries (replaced in 2016). All wiring, fuel lines and plumbing were also replaced in 2015/16 and the rear engine cover panels were also refurbished at the same time, with new steps and flooring throughout.

The boat has a 1000 watt inverter which provides plenty of power to run the fridge, tv, lights, plug sockets etc. The rear deck houses the calor gas container and has seating to make steering and use of the tiller more comfortable. Thumbelina also has her own mooring on the Bridgewater Canal at Moore, a lovely setting on private property which is a fantastic location in a much sought after area. The mooring fees are paid up to November 2017 and are £700 per six months after. The relevant licence fees for Bridgewater and Canal and River Trust are in place for 2017 and the BSS Certificate was renewed in 2016 for 3 years.
