21 foot Frolic Replica Edwardian Steam Launch runs on coal/wood, I’ve spent the lockdown Restoring this Stunning Steam boat. The Hull was constructed in 1992 of glass reinforced plastic, Final fitting out was done in 2002 to an extremely high standard. The Engine is a 5HP 6A Compound Steam reversing engine, running to a 3 Blade Propeller. The Boiler was Certified by Lloyds and the core pressure tested to 350psi, She is fitted with a keel cooler unit. Windermere Kettle, Very nice seating, Lots of new Vanish.The boiler fittings are the following 1x single gauge glass 1x pressure relief valve set to 160 psi 1x pressure gauge 1x stack blow 1x steam whistle 1x live steam supply valve for the engine 1x live steam vent valve 1x live steam to bilge ejection system 1x boiler blow down valve 1x valve to hand operated water feed pump 1x valve to mechanical engine driven feed pump Has just had all the safety work done on the boiler and fittings. Will add more photos when I take it out of the shed. Had a valuation in 2003 of £43,000. Would be great to do river trips.
