Stephen Jones Micro 18

Stephen Jones Micro 18 (Micro Cupper). Age unknown but guess built mid 80s. Boat in good condition. Some star crazing in places as to be expected. The odd chip or scratch, but up and ready to go.

Fast and fun. Previous owner used for light racing but I have only used for nipping around the Solent and approaches, including some weekending, staying aboard in it's cosy and dry cabin. Easy to sail, even single handed, which is my usual way (Autohelm (sep neg) makes easier of course). Sails are Batt (I believe) and very good condition- kept rolled in sleeves when not in use.1x fully battened main.1x large jib (small genoa?).1x conventional spinnaker (and pole of course). Lifting bulb (lead) keel with electric winch.New (2018) guardrail wires.Echo sounder.Solar panel and charge controller (have never needed to charge elsewise).(Autohelm available by separate negotiation).Cabin is bone dry and has all cushions (good condition and comfy).Small CQR type anchor with chain and rope.Spare lines, lifering, 2x fenders, compass, inclinometer, etc.

Rig all good with no fraying strands or bending of spars visible (I keep on low tension generally). Older Mariner 2-stroke (4 HP? Can't recall, sorry). Works fine. On lifting mount.

Full can of fuel (it all counts!).2nd small outboard available (2hp? Never tried, but previous owner used for race attendance). Trailer (unbraked) old and a bit rough but works. Currently dismantled in storage (can view near boat). I towed from Essex to Hampshire.

Lighting board available (used just for that run). Cash on collection only. Viewable on berth at Haslar Marina, Gosport.
