Summer Twins 25 CatamaranA rare opportunity to purchase, only 9 built.Full standing headroom throughout the boat. Built by Pat Paterson in 1987, She is hull 101 the first one ever built and was shown in the 1987 Souhampton boat show.She is one of a kind, the production boat has a lot of moulded fibreglass inside whereas Ransom’s interior is made of wood. Iam a marine engineer and all work that has been needed has been done by myself. I bought her in 2014 and then gave her an extensive refit including total rewire, addition of on-board automatic battery charger, replaced the windows and replaced the standing rigging. In 2015 all the interior headlining and wall covering was renewed.

In 2016 she was lifted out and copper coated. She is a great boat which has given me some great sailing with fantastic passage times for a 25ft boat, recently came back from Padstow in 9.5hrs 67miles. She has 2 double aft berths 7ftx4ft and further berths in the main cabin area. Engine 2007 25hp beta marine diesel connected to a Silette sonic drive leg which has a 13" prop, The leg is liftable to reduce drag when sailing.Capable of over 7 knots but will go along at 5.5kn using approx 2lts an hr. 28ltr fuel tank plus 2x25ltr cans.

Anchor has just had a new 50m warp. Honda wave dinghy and electric pump, Ransom has davits. There is a blown air heater that runs off the engine which is very effective at keeping the cabin warm. The boat comes with a lot of charts and other bits and pieces to many to list. Ransom is for sale due to a change in circumstances and is priced to sell.

This boat would normally fetch inexcess of £20k if you can find one.
