Sunbird Barletta 204 Boat

Up for auction is this americam built Sunbird Barletta 204 cuddy cabin boat, it comes with a suzuki dt100 2 stroke outboard engine and a degraff trailer. It is being sold as a project but is well worth doing as I have seen these boats advertised from £7000 upwards Hull - The boat hull has had the original stickers removed to modernise it a bit and it now needs a bit of a clean and polish (I have the polishing compound) the anti foul paint could also do with a refresh. The engine is a 100hp Suzuki two stroke V4 with power tilt and trim - it will need a pre season service (i have all the parts) - it starts and runs but is stiff to move from left to right so it needs lubricating, this stiffness has caused the teleflex cable to snap so this also needs to be replaced (cables are around £80) ELECTRICS - The battery will need replacing as it goes flat after a day or so (£50) the vhf aerial has snapped and will need replacing (£40) it is fitted with vhf radio, fm radio/cd player, fish finder, solar battery charger, The degraff trailer needs the majority of the work, these trailers cost £3500+ so its well worth doing, it needs a full set of wobble wheels (approx £170 from degraff) a new strap winch, (£25) and repairs to the twin braked axles and indispension units, wheels which are badly corroded and the tyres are cracked - (a caravan chassis would be ideal for using for parts) therefore the boat is not presently towable (without work) and will need to be collected on a low loader The boat is located on Anglesey, North Wales - if you wish to view then please contact me on phone to arrange
