Sunseeker Monterey 27 - Classic Twin V8 Sports Cruiser

For sale is our stunning Monterey 27, a classic Don Shead designed Sunseeker, lovingly maintained and upgraded over the past few years! The boat is a 1989 fitted with twin Volvo AQ271C 5.7L engines, which benefitted from a major overhaul in 2014, both were rebuilt, now circa 850 hours, with a major service last year for peace of mind including the legs, new fuel lines and filters throughout with new Edelbrock carburettors and flame arrestors! New seacock, water tank and hoses, new tank fillers (fuel and water) new toilet and teak floor, new trim tab rams and Volvo leg trim, new duo props and cabin hatch, seriously no expense spared!! A major electrical and audio overhaul was also undertaken in 2020 which, included new gauges, some retro some modern, Garmin GPSmap XS with NMEA cable to the new Fusion RA70 so you can control it from the head unit and English Channel charts chip, LG TV, which we use the IPAD data to stream TV and the likes of Netflix from, new Dometic CRX50 fridge, shore power and ProSport12 onboard battery charger, engine room plug socket for heater, new plug sockets to cabin with USB ports for phone charging, new nav lights and finally new anchor foot switches! She also benefits from a new camper cover fitted by Flexi Covers in April ‘21 transforming the boats functionality, new sunbed and cockpit interior with the exception of the helm and passenger seats in 2020, freshly sanded and treated teak table, there’s even cockpit carpet available but haven’t got around to fitting it.Don't buy a project thinking it will be a quick turn around!
This is all ready to go, obviously its an older model so will require someone that has the care and attention to continue to keep her in tip top condition, we have just been fortunate enough to take part in the 2021 Sunseeker Parade for the Bournemouth air show where she didn’t miss a beat, lots of great comments and on her appearance making it a great entertaining day boat!
