Sunseeker Xps 25 Portofino Speed Boat, Power Boat - Requires Repair

Sunseeker XPS 25 Portofino for reluctant sale due to house extension. On our last trip out, the drive plate on the port side engine developed a fault. Whilst drive is still available to the port side Sterndrive, the engine needs to be removed and the drive plate replaced. The boat is currently in storage in Portland and I am awaiting a quote for the repair work from the Boat yard, which the winning bidder could proceed with if they wished. A good example of the classic Don Shead designed power boat, with twin 5.0l Volvo petrol V8 engines mated to 280 single prop outdrives, propelling the boat to c.
35-40knts, cruising at 25knts. Due to the deep V design it is stable, comfortable and cuts through the water well dealing with some fairly rough conditions during our ownership. The hull, matched to the twin stern drives and combined 450hp gives excellent handling and the power needed to enjoy your time on the water. The hull was polished at the start of the season, but does have a few marks and some clouding in the blue gel coat commensurate with age. The spacious cockpit has two bolster seats for driver and navigator (new 2021), bench seating for 3/4 and sunbathing above the engine bay.
The bench seat folds down to increase the size of the sun pad area. The original upholstery in the cockpit has stood up well, but does suffer from some marks, deterioration and cracking in some areas. The cockpit has storage along both sides a well as a large locker under the bench seat. Additionally, the fresh water tank has been removed to provide additional storage (available for reinstallation). The cabin comfortably seats 5-6, with cushions reupholstered and new flooring in 2021.
To starboard is a small heads compartment with sea toilet. To port is a small fridge, single ring gas hob, tap (not currently functioning, but can be reinstated) and sink. There is a cockpit storage cover and canvas cover with frames that gives standing headroom through the majority of the cockpit. Both are in serviceable condition, but do have some wear and tear. It has been a fantastic family boat and is the ideal base for Bay hopping, waterskiing, various water toys or relaxing with a good book.
The trailer is NOT included in the sale, but is available to the winning bidder at £4,000 if required. The GPS is also NOT included, although the transducer will remain.
