Swallow Yachts Baycruiser 20

This is a beautiful example of the Baycruiser 20. Built by Swallow Boats in 2014 she hasn`t been on the water for the last two, and on close inspection looks very close to new. Epoxy ply construction with the builders` efficient water ballast system, she is very easy to trail, launch and recover, yet very stable and forgiving to sail. The interior is tardis-like with table seating for 4 and full length berth cushions for 3 (a double forward and quarter berth to port). Galley counter area to port and big storage shelf to starboard.

She has a modern, simple and easy to use junk rig which like the rest of the boat, looks and functions like new. Raise as much sail as you want and sheet in. To reduce sail simply release the halyard and the sail drops as far as needed. At the end of the day, just let the halyard go and the sail drops down into its lazy jacks ready for it next trip. The mast is a tapered carbon fibre spar with a simple hinge system so raising and lowering is an easy one-man job.

Drop it down, a few ties and Its ready to travel just like that. The sail stays rigged to the mast base, so after trailing all that needs to be done is to raise the mast, lift the sail on its lazy jacks, and sail off. She has professionally applied coppercoat anti-fouling, so no issue there for many years This beautiful little boat is currently being sailed from Neyland marina. And is in daily use. She is available for any inspection.
