Swift 18 Trailer Sailer

SWIFT 18 – LEAH18ft trailer sailer, fully equipped with road trailer. Has been used extensively this year and is in excellent condition and completely ready to sail having had much work done this year. Due to being quite wide these boats have a good 4 berth interior and feel much bigger than other boats of a similar size. The cast iron keel lifts completely into the keel box with a winch handle and the draft is only 9” when fully retracted. Draft is 1.0 metre with the keel down.
They sail beautifully in all conditions and feel like a much larger yacht. With reefs and a bit of genoa furled in they sail comfortably in stronger winds. HullHull and decks are off white GRP. The hull is double skinned with foam in the cavities. The boat was originally marketed as unsinkable due to the closed cell foam.
There is a double berth in the bow and 2 x 6’ berths, one down each side. There is a sink and tap which can pump water from a removable tank kept below the sink. There is a single burner camping gaz hob which can be used on the area that doubles as a chart table. Cabin has 6 led cabin lights that can be remotely controlled and dimmed. There is a forward hatch to let in light and air and a main hatch with 2 plywood drop boards.
Cockpit has 2 sizeable storage lockers and numerous storage lockers and shelves in the cabin. There are new cushions for cockpit seating. Outboard engine, included in sale, locates in the self draining well in the cockpit and there is a removable fibreglass cover to protect the engine. There are 2 outboard storage brackets on the rear pushpit. Boarding ladder on stern.
All stanchions are in good condition and there are 4mm plastic covered guardwires. There is an aluminium toe rail adding additional strength to the hull deck joint and is very useful for attaching blocks to. There are deck turning blocks at the mast and on deck and a number of jammers and cleats. There are 2 Lewmar winches and 2 winch handles. Deck layout works for assymetric and symmetric spinnakers with turning blocks, tack line blocks and there is an aluminium spinnaker pole included.
There is a self draining anchor locker in the bow and the stem fitting has 2 anchor rollers. There is an anchor with chain and rope stored in the locker. Mast and BoomAre in aluminium. The mast can be raised and lowered simply by the tabernacle and there is an assisting A frame included. Rigging is 4mm 1x19 and forestay was replaced in 2022.
Furler is a rotostay, has been serviced and is in good working condition.SailsThere is a 130% furling genoa, 2 Mainsails both with double reef points, one nearly new loose footed, and an assymetric spinnaker.
