E boat designed by Julian Everett in the 80s as a mini tonner. 'Elf' is in good condition and has been regularly updated. Under water has been epoxied and rig upgraded to the rig from a Waarschip 727 which is a small 1/4 tonner , so its a real flyer.Spars , rigging and deck gear ( Harken) are in good condition. It has one of the very rare fractional rigs so the main is a decent size and 4 genoas ( 1,2, and 3 and a Dragon genoa which fits) and an almost unused spinnaker . All the sails are in good condition.

The engine is a Yamaha 4 hp 2 stroke ( rare as you cant buy these any more). It has a very favourable IRC rating GBR 8029 ( as it still rates as a standard E boat but has a bigger rig) so would do well at Cowes Week under IRC. Sleeps 4 . Interior is fairly basic but it has a cooker , heads, 4 berths and has all its gear including anchor etc plus 2 rudder blades. The trailer is in good condition, galvanised with excellent tyres and a spare.

Currently moored afloat at Hill Head , Hants which gives direct access to the Solent ( no more taking an hour from Port Solent or from the top of the Hamble River) and is cheap. It tows well behind a family car.There is an E boat class web site if you google it with all the dimensions , draft , sail plan ( masthead) etcOr you could just cruise it as it has a boom tent and since it is a beamy powerful boat with a fair amount of space inside but not standing headroom being flush/ turtle decked , a performance cruiser. It has a fully lifting keel so will really go anywhere round the Solent and floats on a puddle (6") so will sit on the sand/ mud as it does at Hill Head at low tide
