Selling my good condition Jaguar 21 as we are looking to upgrade to a larger boat . Any questions please give me a call on 0phone.- Pierre Boat and trailer package with excellent condition twin axel trailer She is currently in Bournemouth on the trailer and will be launched in April .If you wish delivery is possible anywhere in the UK at £0.60 per mile from Bournemouth -please note Delivery will be undertaken after you have inspected and paid for the boat at its current location. Dawn Treader is in good used condition for a boat of her age but is by no means perfect with the occasional scratch and bump here and there . The interior is in very nice clean and tidy condition and is dry .She is sold with fenders, all sails , stove , fish finder , Yamaha 4Hp four stroke motor etc etc . The boat will sleep 4 at a push ( you would need to be very friendly ) , but would be more suited to 2 persons .All upolstry is blue and in good clean contition .
Headling is molded GRP so clean and fresh ( no saggy headlining ) . She has twin berth at the front with space for a Porta Potty underneath ( we us the Bucket and chuck it philosophy ) , two single berths under the cockpit , sink ( with manual water pump from 20 gal tank) and gas stove ( camping type ) She has a lifting keel ( by winch ) allowing her to sail in minimal water depth and also to take the ground where she sits level on the bottom . Fantastic for beaching with the kids and exploring quiet areas where larger boats cannot go- ideal for Poole Harbour . The keel was overhauled by the previous owner and has had lifting strap replaced , keel rollers replaced and mild steel keel roller brackets replaced in stainless steel ( Recipts to prove ) Main sail is in good usable condition with 3 reefing positions , as is the Jib , Genoa is in good condition , Storm jib is almost new and unused as is the Boom tent that has never been used by the look of it . She is supplied with a rare spinnaker pole and spinnaker .Unfortunately the Spinanaker was "Nibbled " when stored by the last owner and I have not yet had it repaired .
She has 2 single speed winches ( but in truth sails can be hauled by hand ) . All navigation lights and interior lights and electrics are in good condition . Standing rigging is stainless steel wire in good condition .Mast is deck stepped on a tabernacle and it takes around 1 hr to rig or de rig for transportation . Running rigging in good order . She has been jet washed and scraped ready for new coat of antifoul before she goes back in the water.
She is equipped with an excellent condition Yamaha 4HP Four stroke serviced at the end of last season . She has a bracket inside the boat for storage upright and secure while on the mooring and sits in a well in the cockpit when sailing . The engine propels the boat at a hull speed of 5 knots on half throttle , starts first pull and is equipped with both internal and 25l external fuel tank . I used less than 10l of fuel in the entire season last year . Anchor , chain and warp is secured on foredeck with extra warp in large cockpit lockers .
The RM trailer is twin axel in excellent condition as it has never been in the water . Fully braked ( all working ) with fresh water flushing system installed on the hubs ( never used as trailer has never been dipped as we launch from a crane ) , good tyres and electrics . Totally UK road legal trailer . The trailer will carry lifting keel or Bilge keel boat up to 26ft. Ideal if you want to transport the boat to different sailing locations .
The depth sounder has been replaced with a new Garmin fishfinder ( installed last year ) giving depth , and water temperature . Good Used condition with some bumps and scratches as to be expected on an older boat . Please feel free to come and view before you buy General info about Jaguar boats Jaguar 21, designed by John Mullins, as was the 23, was built from 1978 to the late nineties. It was available as a fin or lift keel version. Most were the latter.
The fin has a 4’ draft, both variants are competitive in club racing The accommodation is open plan with 4 berths, a decent galley forward of the port berth, adequate headroom. The keel case, in the lift keel variant, is not intrusive, does not restrict access to the forward berths. Storage is plentiful, under the berths, with a chemical loo, forward, under the V berth. The cockpit is well designed for 4 adults there is easy access forward along the wide side decks. The stern has a well for an outboard from 4 – 6hp.
The 21 has an easily managed fractional rig, is renowned for vice free performance, enabling both :
