Trapper TS240 (Namaste)

Trapper TS 240, 24ft cruiser racer. 4 berth. New mainsail 2018, still crisp.Decent furling genoa, UV strip in good condition.Lifting keel mechanism fully serviced 2015. (manual hydraulic type)Autohelm 1000 autopilot - old but works fine.Mercury 5HP outboard, very reliable with fresh gearbox oil. (Fits in cockpit well)12 litre remote fuel tank.LED bulbs in masthead and interior.Great 100Ah Leisure battery.65w solar panel on long wire so can be moved to follow sun.
VHF DSC Radio.Barometer, Depth sounder, log (not working).Manual bilge pump.Danforth anchor.Loads of ropes and fenders.2 x Lalizas sigma 150N lifejackets serviced last year.Radar reflector.Sea toilet, (seacocks need servicing).Lazy Jack system not fitted at the moment but all there. Specifications can be found here: https://sailboat.guide/trapper/ts240 Cosmetically she is a bit tired, there is some crazing on the gelcoat around the cockpit, and the running rigging is getting on a bit. The old sliding kitchen affair has been removed (it didn't slide any more and looked terrible) and i have been using a cartridge camping stove. The old companionway ladder has been replaced with something more sturdy (see pics) The lifting keel is so handy, drawing only 1'6" when up, can get through real shallow areas and if you ground the boat with the keel down just lift it up a bit and off you go again. And no problem drying out on a convenient sandbank to attend to the hull.
She is pretty fast and I have sailed her across the channel to Guernsey, plus many trips around the south coast. Easy to sail single handed. The boat is on the River Exe near Exmouth. I have had great fun becoming a reasonably competent sailor on the Namaste over the last two years. Now it is time to move on to something bigger.
