I am selling my 25 Tremlett sportsman 'Megan Cea' after owning her for two seasons. Powered by a 2007 Honda 200hp 4stroke engine this boat is capable of well over 40knots due to the racing heritage behind the design of the hull. The wheelhouse is quiet and comfortable when underway and feels cosy. The boat comes with a galvanised twin axle escort braked trailer I estimate the boat and trailer to weigh around 2.5tons. Equipment included:15hp Honda auxiliary outboard and bracket.Hydraulic steeringNew bilge pumpNew hand bilge pump12v window de-misters2x 12v batteries Anchor, chain and rope4x fenders8ft boat hookVHFCompassSearch lightNav lightsHella deck lightsHornWindow wipersRod holdersStandard Horizon GPS Fishfinder - Unknown fault will not power on.
In hull transponder. The engine has done less than 6 hours since it's last service. It had new O2sensor and new thermostats when it had the full service that covered oil's, plugs, filters and impeller. Both the engines run perfectly. In the two seasons I have had Megan I have tried to improve the handling of the boat at speed.
After researching Tremlett boats the Honda 200 seemed a good choice for this boat because of the speed potential of the hull. On the first trip out as soon as we got on the plane the boat leaned onto it's side to starboard and my wife was shocked to say the least. Since that first outing I have moved the engine twice and now the boat will plane nicely up to 35knots then she starts to want to lean. I discovered a previous owner had emptied and sealed off the ballast tanks in the front of the hull I intended to recomission them so I could add ballast and continue 'tuning' the boats set up but I want another rib so the Tremlett has to go. The boat is very strongly built and has a forward v-bunk that has new covered foam cushions.Collection preferred but I can deliver at extra cost.
