Triton Coble Fishing Boat With 30hp Mariner Outboard And Twin Axel Trailer.

I have here for sale my Triton Coble boat. I'm unfortunately having to sell due to ill health. The Triton Coble is a type of open traditional fishing boat which was built and developed on the North East coast of England. The distinctive shape of the boat, flat-bottomed and high-bowed, arose to cope with the particular conditions prevalent in this area. Flat bottoms allowed launching from and landing upon shallow, sandy beaches; an advantage in this part of the coast where the wide bays and inlets provided little shelter from stormy weather.However, fishermen required high bows to sail in the dangerous North Sea and in particular to launch into the surf and to land on the beaches. In the last 2 years this boat has had a complete overhaul, which includes: A new cuddy with tinted windows. New floor fitted. Auto and manual bilge pump. New stainless steel rails fitted.Full boat has been gel coated. All required navigation lights fitted. Full bottom has been coated with anti fouling paint. The boat also benefits from having: A Ship 2 shore marine VHF radio, to keep you safe. A Northstar 650 Chartplotter and Fishfinder, so you always know where you and the fish are.All stearing controls in the cuddy. 25l fuel tank. Battery meter and usb ports so you can charge your phone etc. A Radio tape player with speakers. Fire extinguisher.There is also a table you can fit if you wish. Plastic fenders for mooring up with. A small solar panel on roof wich keeps the battery charged. Rear fully working trailer light board. The engine is a late 1990s Mariner two stroke 30hp outboard.The engine has had an easy life and pushes the boat along comfortably, its a displacement hull so doesn't take much to move her along. The engine has been seviced yearly with no problems and only had a few hours use last year. The trailer is, I think custom made, and could easily carry a much heavier boat. Its been fully painted with rust proof paint, its a braked trailer and has had 4 brand new tyres fitted last year which will have only done around 400 miles by now. The bearings were also new last year and have been greased every time its come out the water.I have been offered 800 for the trailer alone, but I dont want to split. The boat is in VGC but there are a few very minor faults, There is a few scrapes at the front from when i was putting it back on the trailer and the wooden handle on the winch has come off. Fairly minor but im trying to be as honest as possible. The boat has been out the water and not used since October.
