There is an Adverk alternator controller to boost the charging and a splitting diode to make charging the two banks equalise.
The house and start batteries were tired and have been replaced. A new 12v smart charger for the house battery means that once the shore power is on the house batter is running the 12v lighting from the mains. The boat is really good. I am a racing sailor at heart.
I spent many hours getting the hull to a superb standard. She was epoxy coated in the past and has not even a hint of osmosis. She is a truly lovely vessel. WIND STEERING: The vessel comes with an original Blondie hassler MKII vane that has been newly serviced all new lines, spliced and in tip top condition. This is a beautiful bit of kit.
The van and oar have been carefully repainted and restored. The oar is epoxy treated in white. This is a gem and steered her to her offshore victories, a real piece of history. FOOTNOTE: I had plans to keep this lovely boat. She’s a true joy to own and sail.
That said, I had plan to carry on working on her. She’s not a project she’s a sail away bargain. I am an honest seller who will miss her.
