Unfinished Project: Aluminium Speed Boat

Unfinished Project: Aluminium Speed Boat, 16'5" (4.20m) long x 5'1" (1.55m) beam. Thought to be a Pearly Miss Speed Boat from the 60's. The old paint was totally removed by glass bead shot and the aluminium prepared with two coats of Hammerite special metals primer. Some areas of the boat have been damaged and repaired by myself and others before I owned it. New ply seats and floor have been made.

New sealed rivets have been added to upper areas to seal holes left from removing older additions and sealed with Sikaflex sealant. I have lots of photos from when I found the boat showing locations of corner braces, transom fixings and original cable steering pulley's etc. This is an unfinished project needing some love and attention. Trailer is not included in this sale but is for sale separately. Collection from Chelmsford or could possibly deliver for an additional cost.
