Valiant V-450 Rib

I purchased the RIB around May 2014 from the original owner, who sold it to upgrade to a larger RIB for wake boarding. He had ensured that it was regularly serviced in the four years he had it and cost was not an issue for him. I originally took it to Cornwall for the summer of 2014 where I found it exceptionally stable and quick with the 60 HP Mercury. I would beach launch from Port Garvene and take it around to Padstow without any issues, calling in at Port Quinn for a spot of fishing! It would comfortably take two adults, two teenagers and a 10 year old.

I brought it back for the winter and she was stored in my garage until July 2015 where she was used for the Henley Royal Regatta, her only outing that year! She then remained in the garage until the following year 2016 where she took us to the Regatta again. She was not used after that and has remained under roof. I went out to prepare her for sale this week end and without fuss started first turn and as you can see the Tell Tale is strong! She has had very little use and is in very good condition, as previously described, I have changed the impeller,oil and filters /oil fuel and plugs, she starts first turn of the key.

It is disappointing that we could not use her more but my time is stretched trying to built a house in Cornwall and work full time leaving me little time for boating. TThis is a very clean and straight RIB that has not been abused and spent more of its life under roof than in water! It comes with a outside cover made to measure, I also have a tow rope and large inflatable tube thing which has never been used, If you look in the picture you will see all that is included which will most definitely get you and friends/family onto the water straight away and a great deal of fun. The engine is more that capable of towing a skier or the inflatable, there is a spare prop with a different pitch depending on what you want. This will easily do about 35-40 knots and trust me, that is fast on the sea!

It has the fish finder but to be honest it didn't help me! I also have a brand new ICOM IC-M73 EURO still in the box which I will list separately or can be sold if the price is right here. I have the original owners manuals and various keys for the engine locks. This is a very genuine boat suitable for coastal waters and rivers, it is very stable, easy to drive, low maintenance and very easy to launch or recover. The Trailer has new bearings and jockey wheel and two spare wheels just in case!

It is completely ready to launch and go.... It is possible that I can drop off/meet on way through to Cornwall either M4,M5 A30 to Launceston or M3 -A303 to Exeter if that assists or collect from Marlow Bucks.
