Reliable sturdy Classic Pioneer 9 Van de Stadt 29 ft well known for robustness and seagoing capabilities. We have owned her for the last 2 years and enjoyed sailing in the Solent and IoW. Selling as personal circumstances have now changed. Equipped with 2 engines, a reliable Dolphin 12 hp (refurnished in June 2020) and an outboard Mercury 9.9 hp 2009 big foot which kick her along very well. The outboard was fitted as spare engine (costed >£1600 with fitting with new tank, new fuel line, new cables and suitable stain steel stern bracket, all this is removable).
Both engines with electric start, battery charger and yearly serviced Remote controls in the cockpit for both engine Original vessel Capitan logbook included n.1 stain steel tank 40lt for the inboard n.1 Quicksilver 35l tank for the outboard with new fits/lines/pump n.1 fresh water tank for basin/external shower (Jabsco 12 V electric auto-pump)n.2 sets of usable sails Spray hood and covers in good conditions as the interior cushions. New cockpit back cushions Could do with some TLC on few bits of wood detail (cosmetic). The boat was under deep hull refurbishment in May/June 2021 covering the following (all documentable with pics): - Review electrics/lights, navigations lights, mast light, interior LED lights all in order - Hull sanding, primer and antifouling by Hempel - Woods varnish - Cutlass bearing replacement - Shaft line serviced with new SKF seals and new anodes - Installation of bronze trisducer Airmar through hull (>£350 worth, instrument not included onboard) - Stain steel tap basin - Rudder maintenance - Winches 2 speeds (Classic ones included with brass handles) - Marine toilet (with new Jabsco pump) - Fresh water tank 40 litres - Deck no-slippery paint by Hempel - Cockpit courtesy blue LED lights - Radio VHF (to be checked) - Automatic bilge pump - Battery 100 Ah. Boat is currently afloat in a pontoon mooring in Southampton with possibility to keep the current berth, subject to the marina agreement. Viewing welcome.
