Vintage Andrews Day Boat 1954 25FT Morris Vedette Engine

This is a 1954 vintage Andrews of Bourne End day boat. It is 25ft long with a beam of 6ft 9ins. It has painted white sides and a varnished super structure. It is fitted with a Morris Vedette 4 cylinder petrol engine. It is constructed of mahogany on oak timbers.

It was a prize winner at the Henley Traditional Rally in the year 2006 and has been used on the River Thames since then but was laid up in the winter of 2017/2018. These boats are advertised for between £46k and £48k in restored condition so I am advertising this boat at a low starting price as the boat will need restoring to the individual's requirements. For this reason I would strongly recommend a viewing before bidding. These boats are extremely versatile with an open cockpit fore and aft and a small saloon with a small galley which has a fitted sink and and a small compartment which could house a toilet. The boat comes with a new overall cover (these can cost in the region of £2,000 to have made), a portable table, a flagstaff and ensign and red leather cushions for the saloon.

There is no trailer with this boat and it would be the highest bidder's responsibility to transport it away. However, there is crainage that can be arranged in the boatyard where is currently being stored. This location is in Henley on Thames.
