Vivacity 20' 4 berth sailing boat. Just undergone a paint and woodwork restoration winter 2016/2017. Winches upgraded and new main sheet and pulleys. New last season main sail and 150% genoa. Spare mainsail, jib, storm jib and spinnaker.
Low hours 4hp 4 stroke Yamaha outboard. GPS chart plotter and depth sounder/fish finder included. 3 Leisure batteries and small solar panel. Cockpit locker full of ropes and fenders. Yard trailer, needs work but functional.
Roller reefing. Winter refurb included a full deck and cockpit rub down, 3 coats of Teamac undercoat flatted in between coats and 2 coats of Teamac deck gloss flatted between coats. Non-slip deck and cockpit areas were rubbed down and coated with Teamac grey non slip. Hull had a full rubdown, 2 undercoats flatted between coats and 2 coats of Teamac boot topping hull gloss. The hull was finished with 2 coats of Teamac anti-foul.
All woodwork on was painstakingly scraped back free of any varnish and residue, fine sanded and coated with linseed oil rather than varnish. Interior was re-painted and new wet room vinyl flooring installed. Boat is presently on a drying mooring at Roa Island and available for viewing and try out. The mooring is not for sale and the berth at the boat club cannot be guaranteed to non existing club members, please speak to the club regarding this. The trailer is a yard trailer but this boat will transport on a road trailer no problem or easily sail anywhere on the West coast if going somewhere else.
The boat will be available in two weeks after a trip hopefully to Scotland or thereabouts. The boat has been at the club since being built and has been sold from member to member for many years most recently changing hands a few times for £1000, since purchasing just over a year ago a lot of time has been spent on the refurbishment and upgrades so this is reflected in the asking price.
